Dyons with axial symmetry
We construct axially symmetric dyons in SU(2) Yang-Mills-Higgs theory. In the Prasad-Sommerfield limit, they are obtained via scaling relations from axially symmetric multimonopole solutions. For finite Higgs self-coupling they are constructed numerically.

متن کاملStatic Black Hole Solutions with Axial Symmetry
We construct a new class of asymptotically flat black hole solutions in EinsteinYang-Mills and Einstein-Yang-Mills-dilaton theory. These black hole solutions are static, and they have a regular event horizon. However, they possess only axial symmetry. Like their regular counterparts, the black hole solutions are characterized by two integers, the winding number n and the node number k of the ga...
متن کاملGeneralized Dual Symmetry of Nonabelian Theories, Monopoles and Dyons
In the present talk we present an investigation of nonabelian SU(N) gauge theories, describing a system of fields with non–dual g and dual g̃ charges and revealing the generalized dual symmetry. The Zwanziger type action is suggested. The renormalization group equations for pure nonabelian theories, in particular for pure SU(3) × S̃U(3) gauge theory (as an example) are analysed. We consider not o...
متن کاملStationary and static stellar dynamic models with axial symmetry
We study the existence of stationary solutions of the VlasovPoisson system with finite radius and finite mass in the stellar dynamics case. So far, the existence of such solutions is only known under the assumption of spherical symmetry. Using the implicit function theorem we show that certain stationary, spherically symmetric solutions can be embedded in one parameter families of stationary, a...
